Go West Young Newlyweds!

So We made it! We (and by we I mean Erin along with some help from some friends - thanks Jen, Natalie, Grandma & Uncle Scott!) packed everything we didn't give away and the movers loaded it up. It's kind of sad to see how little we have left - it really fits in just the dining room with a little spill over into the living room. Joe drove my car out on Memorial Day, then he flew back two weeks later and we drove his car - full with everything including our vacuum and Sonya - out for good. We took a little extra time so we could visit his parents and then Ryan in Kansas City. I really miss Ohio, but you definitely can't beat the view here! :)

Poor Sonya on moving day. She didn't know what to think - Joe wasn't home, grandma was here instead, and that mean Jen had packed all of her toys in a BIG box.

Here's just a sample of the many boxes we packed up - you won't believe what we got rid of! I've never had to have everything in boxes. It's really kind of sad to see all of your belongings fit in a few dozen boxes. It's even stranger to see them all in 1 1/2 rooms out here - with my parents large dining room table and other furniture still in place.

This truck seemed like overkill for our stuff, but we weren't the only load. Believe it or not kids, we only took up like 1/5 of this truck - and you all said we had too much stuff! :)

Here's our last view of Ohio...and into Indiana...

And here we go into Illinois...

And into Missouri...

And into Kansas....

And somehow we missed the sign into Colorado - maybe because driving through Kansas is so boring we were asleep or delirious by that point. But of course we have pictures of Sonya being a very nervous but good dog on the 25 hour - broken into three days - trek.
And here is just a glimpse into how our stuff is being "stored". No wonder we can't find anyting. This is the "view" from what little of the dining room you can get to...

And the view from the living room side...
