Big Movement in Week 30

Week 30 has been pretty exciting and we're only two days in! Peanut is more and more active every day, and his movements are so visible and so cool to feel. He'll kick or punch back now if you put just a little pressure on where he's moving around. You can actually feel little heels now. It's pretty amazing!!! Being so short-torsoed it's getting kind of uncomfortable, but he seems to find a lot of room to move around in!
It's hard to believe that he could be here in less than 10 weeks! I'll feel better when his furniture gets in and we've registered at the hospital!

Christmas pics 2009

We finally got around to taking our Christmas pictures and will send out our cards just (barely) before Christmas this year. These are our two favorites.

This is our card this year. There is a little Peanut belly, and although Sonya did not cooperate (we used the timer on the camera so there was no one to call her to look), we liked our smiles the best.

This one has a lot more Peanut belly, but didn't feel as genuine. We're definitely pleased with our new camera's performance!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

Vist from Grandma Kath & 28 week appointment

Kathy came to visit us for a few days since I can't get home for the holidays. We had a wonderful visit - we did some shopping, baked cookies and went to Peanut's 28 week appointment. While we didn't get an ultrasound like we had hoped for for her visit, she did get to hear his heartbeat. That was pretty exciting! :)

She & John were so wonderful and got us our Peanut rocker. Joe took a morning to put it together - his first "Daddy" assembly. He did a mighty good job!

Of course Sonya was a huge help in the process!

And they really enjoyed the fruits of their labor! In all honesty, Sonya has decided she is not a big fan of the rocking!
