On July 20 we went to our first OB appointment. 
Joe couldn't attend due to work, so my mom went with us and almost cried at the ultrasound. It was really special. We didn't expect another ultrasound since we'd just had one a week and a half ago, but we lucked out. Our appointment was with our fantastic Nurse Practitioner Pam Culig. I couldn't be happier with her. She is exactly what I want from an NP. She took a bunch of pictures since Joe couldn't be there. Peanut measured in at 1.44 cm and 7 weeks, 6 days. He was actually 8 weeks exactly, but that's okay.
